St. Mark Fitness has what you need to help you get in shape this year! Check out the offerings below and the weekly schedule and monthly calendar. For more information, contact the Recreation Ministries Director.
Note: The gym is open to all ages as long as those under 18 are accompanied at all times by an adult. No one under 16 is allowed to use any of the exercise machines.
Flow Class: Join certified instructor Ronni Wharton on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 pm for a relaxing full-body workout. Cost for each class is $5 and is open to anyone in the community.
Cardiovascular: A walking track on the street level floor is available for use (13 laps=1 mile). Cardio machines (treadmills, elliptical machine and exercise bike) are also available just off the walking track. You must be 16 or older to use the machines.
Weight Room: The weight room is located on the bottom floor of the Activity Center to anyone 16 and up. The room is fully stocked with machine weights and free weights.
Sports: The Gym Floor is the size of a regulation basketball court. There are four goals available, two where the height can be adjusted. The court is also set up (lines and post holes) to play volleyball. A Racquetball Court is available for use, as well. Reservations are required for the Racquetball court (they must be made in person).
Pick-up Basketball: Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon at 12:00 pm and Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00 pm folks from around the community come for exercise and fellowship. All are welcome to participate, regardless of talent. Games are managed on court by the participants.
