Ken Bailey came to St Mark in February of 2004. He was raised in various parsonages throughout the Alabama West Florida conference of the United Methodist Church and began working in church music at the age of 16. Ken graduated from Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Alabama with a degree in music education. He has been Organist and Youth and Children’s Director at Bellevue United Methodist Church in Gadsden, Alabama; Teacher and Band Director at Macedonia Academy in Montgomery, Alabama; Worship Assistant including Choir Director, Youth Band Leader and Graphic Designer at Christian Life Church in Montgomery, Alabama.

Ken has experience in contemporary and traditional worship settings, and feels called to serve the Lord in the area of music ministry by providing high quality leadership and training to equip the lay church musician to worship their Lord in spirit and truth, tapping that hidden potential in a person that anxiously awaits the encouragement to be revealed. He is “incredibly excited about being a church musician”. His joy is helping others make music for the Lord and to the Lord!
