Reverend Jeremy Alexander
Senior Pastor
Jeremy was born in Jacksonville, FL and raised in South Georgia and Florida. He graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Music with an emphasis in classical voice and opera, and he earned a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. Jeremy is married to Katie and has two sons, Derek and Asher, and he enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with his family.

Reverend Andy Ginn
Associate Pastor
Andy was born and raised in Columbus and has been a member of St. Mark his entire life. He is a graduate of Columbus State University and currently attends Asbury Theological Seminary. Andy is married to Leslie and has a son, Coleman. Andy loves Georgia football and enjoys music, gaming, and 90’s pop culture in his free time.

Angie Carr
Director of Music Ministry
Angie is a graduate of Lee University with a degree in Music Education. With more than 30 years of Music Ministry experience, Angie has served in local churches, recorded music projects of her own, taught music, and is knowledgeable in all types of music and worship. She loves directing choirs and leading people into the presence of the Lord through music. Angie loves being outdoors and spending time at the beach.

Blaine Hughes
Director of Youth Ministry
Blaine was born in Columbus and lived in many different places across the US as a military child. She studied music theory and theatre arts in college, and she is currently enrolled online at Trident University for her BS in Leadership. Blaine and her husband, Kevin, have three children, MaryCatherine, Calliope, and Joanne with whom she enjoys playing board games, camping, and going on family walks.

Sarah Phelps
Director of Children’s Ministry
Sarah was born and raised in Columbus. She has served at St. Mark Preschool and Nursery since 2018 and became Director of Children's Ministry in December of 2021. When not on campus, Sarah enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Joni Biancardi
Director of Activity Center
Joni is a native of Pennsylvania and has lived in Georgia since 1996 with her son, Ricky. She has served at St. Mark for 20 years. She loves cats and often adopts and rehabilitates them. Joni teaches fitness and enjoys staying active.

Erica Bender
Director of Preschool
Erica is from Columbus but has lived all over the Southeast. She has worked at St. Mark Preschool since 2015 and became its Director in 2018. Erica is married with two children and enjoys vacations and quality time with her family.

Tavada Patton
Director of Child Development Center
Tavada has been the CDC Director since March 2009 and has worked in Early Childhood Education for over 25 years. She attended Georgia Southern University to become a Physical Therapist but soon changed to ECE while serving in the United States Army Reserves, which eventually moved her to Columbus. Tavada loves St. Mark, where the Love of God is not just a word but an action.

Kenny Roberts
Church Administrator
Kenny is a graduate of Auburn University and also received a MBA from Troy University. He has 45 years of banking experience. Kenny and his wife, Cindy, have one daughter, Kelli, whose husband is Brad, and one granddaughter, Gracie.

Barbara Lutz
Administrative Assistant
Barbara is a graduate of The University of Georgia. She is married with two children and enjoys serving God and others here at St. Mark.
